Holiday Display in Hong Kong Mall

Telford Plaza is a nearly 900,000 square foot shopping center located at the heart of Kowloon East in Hong Kong. Back in 2006, photographer totoro n_n captured images of the mall's holiday displays which included some nice-looking Snow White setups.

Snow joins the other Disney princesses as they descend the stairs in this arrangement. The figures look to be around 4' tall and molded possibly from hard plastic. I really like the angular designs of the faces.

In another area, this banner was used as a backdrop to a Snow White cottage scene.

Snow hangs holiday decorations as the Dwarfs are gathered around.

There was a Little Mermaid display as well.

Snow White Storybook Ornament Set

The Disney Store has released a truckload of Storybook Ornament Sets over the years. The popular holiday series featured characters from some the best Disney animated and live-action films.

The Snow White collection included eight resin figures measuring between 1.5" to 3" tall. Packaged in a "storybook" box. Original retail price $32.00 (USD).

Ornament images via Fantasies Come True

This set was listed in the holiday preview pages of the 1999 Halloween Disney Catalog (p.91).

And was seen again in the 2001 Fall Disney Catalog (p.95).

At some point, the cover art was redesigned on the box, but the ornaments stayed the same.

Then an updated set was released with a new Snow White sculpt. The Dwarfs, however, still remained unchanged. The ornaments are no longer available except thru online resellers.
